Spotify Rolls Out Lossless Audio – What You Need to Know
Spotify has begun rolling out Lossless audio for Premium subscribers in more than 50 markets, with global completion expected by October. Premium users can now stream tracks in up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC at no extra cost across mobile, desktop and Spotify Connect devices from Sony, Bose, Samsung, Sennheiser and more (Sonos and Amazon support next month).
This long-awaited feature lets fans experience music with greater detail, closer to what artists and producers hear in the studio.
